Wine and Gourmet Tour


Georgian wine and cuisine is known in the world for its authenticity, distinctiveness, diversity and delicious taste. During the tour, our guests will visit the Wine Museum, wine cellars in the Imereti region and take part in culinary master classes. At the same time they will relax in our hotel complex - Tskaltubo Epic Hotel and Spa.

Day 2 - Prometheus Wine Museum, culinary tour

Breakfast.

Relax in the hotel - pool, jacuzzi, sauna.

Visit the Prometheus Wine Museum. The guests will have a guided tour in Georgian wine museum which represents the unique place (the museum is located inside the huge Kvevri and has no analogue in Georgia). Our museum guides will explain the guests the history of Georgian wine from ancient times to the present day. The guests will see unique artifacts connected to wine and wine making.
Our sommeliers will provide wine tasting tour to the guests. They will provide the guests with the informative explanation about the wine that the guests will taste. The guests will be able to taste wine directly from Kvevri - a large earthenware vessels used for the fermentation, storage and ageing of traditional Georgian wine. Snacks will also be provided.

Culinary tour. Together with professional chefs, our guests will prepare and taste traditional Georgian dishes. The guests will make Churchkhela - the most well-known Georgian snack, take part in the preparation of Elarji, barbecue and khachapuri in the Georgian traditional open cuisine.

Day 3 - Tasting of wines and cuisine of Baghdati region.

Departure in the direction of Baghdati. Baghdati is one of the main winemaking centers of Imereti region.

Visit to Gaioz Sofromadze Wine Cellar and wine tasting with corresponding snacks.

Visit to Shukri Nakashidze Wine Cellar and wine tasting with corresponding snacks. In the same place we will visit Nakashidze's Ethno Museum, where visitors will see a collection of ancient and medieval weapons. Lunch at Shukri Nakashidze Wine Cellar.

Visiting the wine cellar of the famous Georgian winemaker - Baia Abuladze and tasting the wine with corresponding snacks.

Return to the hotel
